Spirit
These Fenouil creations are based upon love of nature of any
civilizations, the wild, vastness & beauty of landscapes,
the historical & archaeological past associated.
On our trips, mostly originals, it is rare we cross any other
vehicles, even on a
Los Angeles/Las Vegas trip.
When
& where?
It depends on you. Our raids are on request only.
Duration
It also depends on you. Usually one week + two weekend days.

Vehicles
Your personal vehicles or rental vehicles on site rented by
us.
Organization
In Egypt, a truck & 4WDs, each vehicle equipped with a radio
& a satellite phone. We are taking with us an army officer
in the desert, cooks, mechanics, complete bivouac equipment
with tables, chairs, tents, toilets, showers, fridges, food,
drinks, fuel ...
This formula allows us to stop wherever we want, usually an
hour before sunset to set our evening bivouac & have a drink
around the campfire before dinner. The next morning our U.S.-style
breakfast is copious.
California/Arizona/Nevada & Russia: one or two 4WDs with
radio, satellite phone, bivouac equipment & light kitchen...

of raids by Sables Chauds
For example, here are two recent trips we took & the other
four to come.
- Raid
in Egypt by rental KTM motorbikes (from October 21
to November 9, 2008) for a group of 12 Swiss bikers. Crossing
the Qattara Depression in its length across swamps, huge desert
lakes, the Oasis of Siwa, “cathedral-dunes”, the
huge stone aircraft carrier of Quss Abu Said, the White Desert
- assisted by an off-road truck & a 4WD.
- Raid
in California by rental Hummers (from January 3 to
10, 2009) for the Autoreva group, 14 people, through Death Valley
& the Mojave Desert, track, off-road & dunes. Visit
of Los Angeles ...
- Raid
in Russia by own 4WDs (from August 25 to September
30, 2009) for a Swiss group. Crossing of Russia up to Vladivostok,
off-road.
- Raid
in Egypt by 4WDs (from October 16 to 2, 2009) for an
Alsatian group of 12 people: The best of our Egyptian explorations
including the “Pass of the Foul”. Sumptuous bivouacs
in the heart of the dunes & the most beautiful mythical
hotels of Egypt. From Cairo to Aswan, where our vehicles are
driven back by drivers while we take the plane to Cairo.
- Sports
Raid in Egypt by motorbikes (from October 30 to November
7, 2009) for a Swiss group of 12 bikers with fast assistance
by 4WD over 2, 000 km without any fuel around the Gilf Kebir,
where the ancients located the lost oasis.
- Raid
in Egypt by 4WDs (from November 21 to 28) for an automotive
group of 80 people across the longest chain of dunes in the
world, Ghurd Abu Muharik (the impassable sea of dunes), Quss
Abu Said & the White Desert.
