| Dear
Egyptian adventure enthusiasts,
I am in
the Egyptian desert to complete the reconnaissance of our next
rally which starts in 3 months.
No significant
change in the previously announced program:
*
Arrival of the non-residents in Cairo on Friday the 16th or
before, return on Sunday the 25th or later.
*
9 nights in Egypt, including 5 in hotels: 6th October City,
Siwa, Bahariya, Cairo 2 times & 4 nights in camp.
*
8 days of racing, with the final day at the Pyramid of Saqqara,
short & energetic specials, reduced autonomy (400 km by
car, 220 km by motorbike, ATV or SSV).
*
Medical Safety by helicopter.
*
It seems that this year we have a record number of Egyptians
car drivers & bikers, led by Abdelhammid Aboussoussef, brilliant
three-time winner of the Rally of the Pyramids, who just finished
4th in the Africa Race. And among
non-residents, a dozen of SSV should do wonders in the dunes
of Siwa - ahead or behind the bikes, this is what we’re
about to find out. By motorcycle, we have the world's fastest
veteran, Franco Picco, currently in the top 25 of the Dakar
Argentina - hats off!
If you intend
to register, do not wait too long for booking your flight &
boat.
See you
in the sand, Inch’ Allah!
